Former Major League Baseball player Jim Edmonds confirmed in a story posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday that he did test positive for COVID-19 and is now symptom free.
Edmonds, a four-time All-Star who played 17 seasons most of which with the St. Louis Cardinals and California/Anaheim Angels, was hospitalized last week, tested positive for pneumonia and had been awaiting his coronavirus test results.

He said, “I am completely symptom free now and doing really well, so I must have had (the coronavirus) for a while. I appreciate everyone who has said well wishes and wished me the best.”
