Major League Baseball is considering getting rid of the two leagues and going with a universal DH this season.
Sources say instead of the American and National leagues, they’d split the 30 teams between Arizona and Florida based on the geography of their spring training sites, creating Cactus League and Grapefruit League divisions for the abbreviated season.
The sources add both divisions would use a DH and pitchers won’t hit.
