In the first half both teams played like well oiled machines. Keeping the score within 5 points at all times. The end of the first half shown the MSU Grizzlies leading over the Nighthawks with a score of 48-46.
The first ten minutes of the second half had both teams teeter tottering on the lead. The second ten minutes were more controlled by the Nighthawks keeping the lead by 2 to 4 points at all times. The grizzles while filled with determination tied the game in the last 30 seconds ending the second half and taking the game into overtime with a score of 78-78.
The start of overtime had the nighthawks taking an early 4 point lead. The grizzles quicky fill the gap tying the game again at 82-82. Both teams continued to keep the score tied until a costly mistake caused the Grizzlies the win with a final score of 89-91.
