The MSU West Plains Grizzlies face down the Mineral Area Cardinals for their Homecoming Game. Last time the Grizzlies fought the Cardinals they secured a win with a final score of 63-58. The grizzlies were determined to repeat that victory especially with it being there homecoming night. They hit the court with determination, heart, and a fighting spirit.
The first five minutes of the game shown the Cardinals coming out strong and picking up an early lead. the Grizzlies played a bit sluggish in the first half. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies couldn’t catch their stride and let the Cardinals have a staggering lead at the half with a score of 26-44.
The second half faired no better than the first as the Grizzlies could not seem to catch their stride while the Cardinals where playing as a well oiled machine. A bit of a disappointing night for fans of the Grizzlies but it’s time for them to brush themselves off and get ready for another game on 2/22/23.
