Tuesday night saw the Eagles travel to Mammoth Spring, Arkansas to take place in the annual Battle of the Border Tournament.
Their first round match-up put them against the Pirates from Calico Rock, Arkansas. Calico Rock entered the game 2-8 on the season while Liberty is 2-0. Acklin, Lee and Stretch led the Eagles with 15, 10 and 7 points each while the Pirates were led by John David and Stevens with 16 and 13 respectively. The Eagles would pull away and end up winning 59-49.

Liberty moves to 3-0 on the season while Calico Rock falls to 2-9. The next outing for the Liberty Eagles will be Thursday Night once again in the Mammoth Spring tournament at 8:30 p.m.
