The Liberty Eagles played host to the Wildcats from Winona in the season opener on Tuesday night.
It was a close game in the first half as at the break it was 46-40 with Liberty in the lead. The Eagles defense would stand firm however in the second half only allowing 10 points the rest of the contest. Meanwhile, on offense four players scored in double figures with Daniels getting 30. Lee, Acklin and Stretch chipped in with 12, 10 and 11 respectively.

The Eagles hit the floor again on Thursday night against the Wildcats from Summersville.
