NASCAR says that those who fail to comply with their COVID-19 event protocol guidelines could be fined as much as $50,000.
The organization has set specific guidelines for events, which include everyone in the infield wearing a mask and social distancing mandates.

Those who failed to follow the guidelines and any other directives issued by NASCAR will result in a fine of $10,000-$50,000 in the Cup series.
NASCAR’s first race since racing was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak is set to be held on Sunday, May 17th at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina. This race will be broadcast on KSPQ 93.9FM with the pre-race starting at 1:30pm
