Ryan Newman opened up about his crash at the Daytona 500 saying it was a miracle he survived.
The NASCAR driver appeared on the “Today” show yesterday (Wednesday) and said , “On so many levels, I feel so lucky. You look at the crash, you think that’s spectacular in a bad way. You look at the car afterwards, you think about all the things of what happened right for me to be sitting here.”
Newman believes he survived because “the angels aligned and held a really good grip with their hands.”

He didn’t say when he’d return to racing, but added he wants to return as soon as possible.
