The National League and American Leagues best gathered in Seattle Washington last night for the 2023 All Star Game. The St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals only had one player each on the rosters, Nolan Arenado and Salvador Perez. Nolan Arenado started at third base for the National league and was 0 for 2 at the plate before being lifted for the Braves Austin Riley. Salvador Perez was 1 for 2 with a run scored after replacing Shohei Ohtani at DH. The National League ended a 10 year losing streak to the American league as unlikely hero Elias Diaz, Colorado Rockies catcher, hit a 2 run Home Run to lift the National League to a 3-2 victory. Diaz was named the All Star 
MVP.
