The Big Ten conference announced that conference games would not be rescheduled if they are unable to be played on their scheduled date due to COVID outbreaks.
The conference determined that if one of its universities is unable to play a conference game due to COVID, that contest shall be declared a forfeit and will not be rescheduled.
It would then be considered a loss for the team impacted by the virus, and a win for the opposition.
But if both teams are unable to participate because of COVID-19, it would be declared a “no contest.”
