Clemson is the preseason No. 1 in the AP Top 25.
Ohio State was a close second followed by Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma. Defending champs LSU came are sixth.
Several teams in Top 25 won’t be playing this fall including Ohio State, Penn State and Oregon. If a spring season is played, the AP will consider doing rankings for those teams too.
