NFL: 56 Players Tested Positive For COVID-19, 66 Players Opt Out

The NFL Players Association says that 56 players have tested positive for the coronavirus since players began reporting to training camps last week.

That represents approximately 2% of the players currently on NFL rosters.

Meanwhile a total of 66 players opted out of the season due to health concerns related to the coronavirus.   Yesterday (Thursday) was the deadline for players to opt out and still get paid either $350,000 or $150,000.
