NFL: Bills Fan Spreads Her Late Father’s Ashes at Arrowhead in KC

Kristen Kimmick is a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan, but her father Ronald always loved the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ronald passed away of a stroke in October of 2019. Kimmick says he always wanted to go to a game at Arrowhead, but never got the chance.

She couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see the Bills play in the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead. She booked her tickets before she knew the Bills would even play in the game, and when the time came, brought her dad along.

Wearing a necklace with a tiny capsule of her dad’s ashes, Kimmick opened it during the game and spread some of Ronald’s ashes in the stands at Arrowhead.

Kimmick, who grew up a Bills fan, was never swayed by her dad’s love for the Chiefs. She says her dad and her had a friendly rivalry over the two teams. She wore Ronald’s wrist watch during the game.
