NFL: Brett Favre Believes Aaron Rodgers Will Finish His Career Elsewhere

Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre believes current Packers Pro Bowl QB Aaron Rodgers will finish his career with another team after the Green Bay drafted QB Jordan Love in the first round of the NFL Draft last week.

Favre said,  “I think he will play somewhere else. It’s not Aaron’s job to mentor Jordan Love. [But] I guarantee you [the Love pick] got the gears going in Aaron’s mind.”

He added that he talked to Rodgers after the draft pick, but he didn’t go into specifics about their conversation.

Favre and Rodgers are both familiar with the current situation… Favre was the quarterback of the Packers when the team selected Rodgers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft.

Brett Favre told the ‘Rich Eisen Show’ that he believes Aaron Rodgers will eventually play for another team.  This after the Packers chose to draft a quarterback in the 1st round.

Favre says Aaron Rodgers was surprised by Green Bay’s decision to draft a quarterback in the first round.
