NFL: Chiefs CB Bashaud Breeland Banned 4-Games

Kansas City Chiefs starting cornerback Bashaud Breeland was suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the NFL’s policy and program on substances of abuse.

He was arrested in April on multiple charges, including marijuana possession and was already facing a four-game suspension for a separate violation of league rules.

Breeland joined the Chiefs last season as a free agent and started 15 games in 2019. He had an interception in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
