Kansas City Chiefs Pro Bowl quarterback Patrick Mahomes never had a concussion but tweaked a nerve in his neck in Sunday’s playoff win against the Cleveland Browns.
Mahomes left the game in the third quarter after a hit which left him woozy. He never had a concussion but was woozy due to a nerve in his neck that got tweaked (or potentially compressed) on the hit.
He will still undergo tests this week on the affected nerve to make sure he’s allowed to play against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC title game on Sunday.
