NFL Draft

On Thursday night the First Round of the NFL took place in Detroit Michigan and many records were set. Six quarterbacks were taken in the first 12 picks of the night, with USC’s Caleb Williams being selected first by the Chicago Bears.  23 offensive players in total were taken with the 32 picks overall, the most ever.  Six quarterbacks, nine offensive linemen, and seven wide receivers were taken.   The Kansas City Chiefs made a trade with the Buffalo Bills to move up in the first round and took Wideout Xavier Worthy from Texas.  Worthy will bring speed back to the Chiefs offense as he registered a 4.21 40-yard time in the combine, the fastest ever recorded.   Mizzou Tiger Darius Robinson was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals at pick 27.
