NFL Some Owners Want ‘No’ Vote, And 18 Games

A number of NFL owners hope the proposed collective bargaining agreement (CBA) doesn’t pass with the players because they want an 18-game season.  

The current proposed CBA includes a 17-game season, one more game than the current schedule.

Sources say several owners hope the players vote the CBA down because they believe they can negotiate a better deal, with eyes on an 18-game season in the future.
