The NFC-leading Lions (9-1) have won eight straight and nine of their first 10 games in a season for the first time since 1934.

Detroit’s winning margin of 46 points was the largest in franchise history, and it handed Jacksonville its biggest-ever defeat.

The Lions, 1969 Minnesota Vikings and 1973 Atlanta Falcons are the three teams in the Super Bowl era to win three of their first 10 games by at least 35 points.

The Jaguars (2-9) have lost four consecutive games for the second time this season and 14 of 17 since last year, a series of slumps that may cost coach Doug Pederson his job.

Steelers 18, Ravens 16

The Pittsburgh Steelers contained MVP Lamar Jackson in their 18-16 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Pittsburgh (8-2) held Jackson and the rest of the NFL’s top-ranked offense to season lows in points and yards (329) and season highs in mistakes.

Baltimore (7-4) turned it over three times — each leading to one of Chris Boswell’s six field goals — and committed 12 penalties while never really establishing the kind of rhythm that comes so easily when they play someone other than the Steelers.

The two-time MVP completed just 16 of 33 for 207 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He hit Zay Flowers for a 16-yard score with 1:06 left to get the Ravens within two but the 2-point conversion attempt was a mess. Jackson rolled to his left, tried to run then pulled up and threw a prayer to no one in particular that fell incomplete.

Russell Wilson threw for 205 yards and an ill-advised pick in the end zone midway through the fourth quarter. Najee Harris ran for 63 yards — including a 2-yard churn for the clinching first down — and George Pickens caught eight passes for 89 yards.

Packers 20, Bears 19

Jordan Love ran for a go-ahead score in the closing minutes, and Green Bay hung on to beat Chicago 20-19 on Sunday when Karl Brooks blocked Cairo Santos’ kick from 46 yards as time expired.

Christian Watson set a career high with 150 yards on just four catches, including a 60-yarder that set up Love’s touchdown run, and the Packers (7-3) avoided falling further behind Detroit and Minnesota in the NFC North. They also beat the last-place Bears (4-6) for the 11th straight time, the longest streak by either team in the storied rivalry.

Love completed 13 of 17 passes for 261 yards and a touchdown. He also threw his league-leading 11th interception, matching his total from last year.

Josh Jacobs ran for 76 yards and a score for the Packers.

Caleb Williams threw for 231 yards and ran for 70 after regressing in the previous three games.

Chicago’s D’Andre Swift had 14 carries for 71 yards. His 39-yard score near the end of the third quarter gave the Bears a 19-14 lead.

Vikings 23, Titans 13

Sam Darnold threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score as the Minnesota Vikings beat the Tennessee Titans 23-13.

Darnold guided the Vikings (8-2) to their third straight win. He found Jordan Addison for a 47-yard catch-and-run touchdown as the Vikings didn’t trail again as they scored 16 straight for a 16-3 halftime lead.

Andrew Van Ginkel had his two sacks on back-to-back plays as Minnesota finished with five. Pat Jones II also had two. Harrison Smith clinched the win with an interception with 1:50 left.

The Titans (2-8) lost their second straight and went winless against the NFC North.

Colts 28, Jets 27

Anthony Richardson ran for a 4-yard touchdown, his second of the game, with 46 seconds left in his return from a two-game benching to lift the Indianapolis Colts to a 28-27 victory over Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets.

The Jets (3-8) were leading 27-22 after Anders Carlson’s 35-yard field goal with 2:41 remaining.  Richardson — who sat out the last two games in favor of Joe Flacco — marched the Colts down the field.

Richardson finished 20 of 30 for 272 yards and a touchdown. He ran for 32 yards on 10 carries.

Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdown passes but the Jets dropped their seventh in eight games and fell to 1-5 under interim coach Jeff Ulbrich.

Rodgers was 22 of 29 for 184 yards after a brutally slow start during which he went 9 of 13 for just 76 yards.

Rams 28, Patriots 22

Matthew Stafford connected with Cooper Kupp on the second play of the second half, and Kupp coasted to the end zone for a 69-yard score to help Los Angeles pull away and beat the New England Patriots 28-22.

Stafford threw for four touchdowns to give him 370 in his career, passing Eli Manning for 10th on the NFL’s all-time list. In addition to the long strike to Kupp to start the second half, he hit Puka Nacua on the first play after Drake Maye’s fumble set the Rams (5-5) up at the New England 12.

Stafford threw for 295 yards, hitting Nacua seven times for 123 yards and a score. Kyren Williams ran for 86 yards, and Michael Hoecht blocked an extra-point attempt to keep the Patriots (3-8) from making it a one-score game after they cut the deficit to 28-19 early in the fourth quarter.

Drake Maye threw for 282 yards and two TDs — one of them to offensive lineman Vederian Lowe — for New England (3-8), which has yet to win back-to-back games this season.

The Patriots fell to 1-3 at home after going 1-7 at Gillette Stadium last season. They ran 73 plays vs. the Rams’ 51 and won the time of possession 37:20 to 22:40.

Dolphins 34, Raiders 19

Tua Tagovailoa found Jonnu Smith for a 57-yard catch-and-run and the Miami Dolphins beat the Las Vegas Raiders 34-19 to win their second straight game.

Tagovailoa had two other touchdown passes on Sunday, including a 1-yard score to Smith in the first quarter,

The Raiders (2-8) lost their sixth straight game.

Tagovailoa completed 28 of 36 passes for 288 yards, and his third touchdown of the day went for 8 yards to receiver Tyreek Hill. Hill caught seven passes for 61 yards and has scored in consecutive games for the first time this season. Smith had a season-high 101 yards receiving.

Quarterback Gardner Minshew completed 30 of 43 passes with 282 yards and one interception after being benched for Desmond Ridder in his previous outing against Cincinnati. Tight end Brock Bowers caught 13 passes for 126 yards.

Jalen Ramsey intercepted Minshew late in the fourth, which is the quarterback’s 13th turnover of the season.

Saints 35, Browns 14

Tayson Hill capped a career-best 138-yard, three-touchdown performance on the ground with a 75-yard scoring run, and the New Orleans Saints improved to 2-0 under coach Darren Rizzi with a 35-14 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Hill’s two other touchdowns went for 10 and 33 yards..

The 34-year-old Hill also completed an 18-yard pass and returned a kickoff 42 yards. His 50 yards receiving on eight catches gave him 248 yards combined as a runner, passer, receiver and returner.

Derek Carr passed for 248 yards and two touchdowns for New Orleans (4-7), highlighted by Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s 71-yard catch and run on a short crossing route.

Jameis Winston passed for 395 yards and two TDs for the Browns (2-8) in his return to the city he called home for the previous four NFL seasons.

Bills 30, Chiefs 21

Josh Allen ran for a 26-yard touchdown on fourth down with 2:17 left, sealing the Buffalo Bills’ 30-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and handing the two-time defending Super Bowl champions their first loss of the season.

James Cook rushed for two touchdowns and Allen threw a 12-yard TD pass to Curtis Samuel for Buffalo (9-2), which closed the gap on Kansas City (9-1) in the race for the AFC’s top seed.

Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs were the NFL’s last undefeated team. The Chiefs had won 15 straight, including playoffs, since they fell 20-14 to the Las Vegas Raiders on Dec. 17, 2023.

The Bills have won six straight and moved closer to their sixth straight AFC East title.

Allen played through a sore throwing hand, which was examined on the sideline during the game. He finished 27 of 40 for 262 yards with the TDs passing and rushing and an interception.

Mahomes finished 23 of 33 for 196 yards with three touchdown passes — two to tight end Noah Gray and another to Xavier Worthy — and two interceptions.

Seahawks 20, 49ers 17

Geno Smith capped an 80-yard drive with a 13-yard scramble with 12 seconds remaining, giving the Seattle Seahawks their second win in seven games with a 20-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The Seahawks (5-5) won their first three games under first-year coach Mike Macdonald before dropping five of six — including a sixth straight loss to San Francisco (5-5) last month.

The win moved Seattle into a three-way tie for second place in the NFC West with San Francisco and the Rams, a game behind Arizona. The Niners have lost three division games, blowing fourth-quarter leads in all of them after dropping games earlier this season to the Rams and Cardinals.

Smith finished 25 for 32 for 221 yards with one interception and the touchdown run. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had 10 catches for 110 yards.

Brock Purdy went 21 for 28 for 159 yards with a touchdown pass, a TD run and an interception.  Christian McCaffrey gained 106 yards from scrimmage for San Francisco.

Broncos 38, Falcons 6

Bo Nix threw for 307 yards and a season-best four touchdowns, Javonte Williams got a push across the goal line from a half-dozen of his teammates, and the Denver Broncos rolled past the Atlanta Falcons 38-6 on Sunday.

Nix was 28 for 33, and joined Hall of Famer Peyton Manning as the only rookie QBs in NFL history to throw for 200-plus yards with two or more touchdowns in four consecutive home games.

The Broncos (6-5) snapped a two-game skid.

At one point, Falcons coach Raheem Morris replaced starter Kirk Cousins (18 of 27 for 173 yards, no TDs and one interception) with rookie Michael Penix Jr., who promptly completed a 20-yard pass to Ray-Ray McCloud III.

SUNDAY NIGHT:   Chargers 34, Bengals 27

J.K. Dobbins rushed for a 29-yard touchdown with 18 seconds remaining, and the Los Angeles Chargers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 34-27 on Sunday night after squandering a 21-point third-quarter lead.

Justin Herbert passed for 297 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 65 yards as the Chargers (7-3) won their fourth straight. Dobbins ran for two TDs.

Joe Burrow passed for 356 yards and three touchdowns, but the Bengals (4-7) suffered another devastating loss. They have five defeats by seven points or fewer.

Kicker Evan McPherson had two chances in the fourth quarter to give the Bengals the lead, but was wide left from 48 and 51 yards.
