Lions 24, Colts 6
Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for two scores, David Montgomery added a third TD run and Detroit’s increasingly stingy defense kept the Indianapolis Colts out of the end zone on Sunday, leading the Lions to their ninth straight win, 24-6.
The Lions improved to 10-1 for the first time since 1934, their inaugural season in the Motor City. They own the league’s longest active winning streak and are 6-0 on the road this season.
Gibbs finished with 21 carries for 90 yards on a day Jared Goff went 26 of 36 with 269 yards and no touchdowns. And for the third straight week, all against AFC South foes, the Lions had a second-half shutout.
The Colts (5-7) lost their second straight home game and for the fourth time in their past five games.
Dolphins 34, Patriots 15
Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins threw for four touchdowns in a dominant 34-15 win over the New England Patriots.
With the Dolphins (5-6) win at New England (3-9) in Week 5, the Dolphins have swept their division rivals in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1999-2000.
Miami’s defense held the rest of the way. Linebacker Tyrel Dodson intercepted rookie quarterback Drake Maye, then Miami stopped the Patriots on fourth down on the next.
Jaylen Waddle caught eight passes for a season-high 144 yards and a 23-yard touchdown that stretched Miami’s lead to 31-0 entering the fourth.
Jonnu Smith finished with 87 yards on nine catches to continue his strong first season as a Dolphin.
Chiefs 30, Panthers 27
Patrick Mahomes ran 33 yards up the field, helping to set up Spencer Schrader’s 31-yard field goal as time expired as the Kansas City Chiefs held on to beat the Carolina Panthers 30-27 on Sunday.
The game-winning drive was the 21st of Mahomes’ career, and the Chiefs won a game decided in the final seconds for the fifth time this season. Eight of the Chiefs’ wins have come by one-score margins.
Mahomes completed 27 of 37 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns in his first game at Bank of America Stadium and ran for 60 yards as the Chiefs (10-1) scored on six of their eight possessions.
Noah Gray caught four passes for 66 yards and scored two touchdowns for the second straight week, and DeAndre Hopkins also found the end zone for the two-time defending Super Bowl champions. Kareem Hunt ran for 68 yards on 16 carries and caught three passes for 19 yards.
Bryce Young played well for Carolina (3-8), finishing 21 of 35 for 262 yards and a touchdown while leading the Panthers back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to tie the game on Chuba Hubbard’s 1-yard touchdown run and 2-point conversion with 1:46 remaining.
Titans 32, Texans 27
Will Levis threw for 278 yards and his 70-yard touchdown pass to Chig Okonkwo put Tennessee on top in the fourth quarter and the Titans held on for the 32-27 victory over the Houston Texans.
Okonkwo grabbed a short pass and rumbled for the touchdown to put the Titans (3-8) up 30-27 with 9½ minutes remaining. Safety Eric Murray missed a tackle that would have stopped him near midfield.
The Texans (7-5) had a chance to tie it with less than two minutes remaining, but Ka’imi Fairbairn’s 28-yard field-goal attempt sailed wide left. He fell to the ground after the miss before getting up and slamming his helmet on the field.
C.J. Stroud threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions as the AFC South-leading Texans lost for the third time in four games.
Stroud has thrown five interceptions combined in the past three games to give him more interceptions in 12 games this season (nine) than he had in 15 games as a rookie last season (five).
Vikings 30, Bears 27 OT
Sam Darnold threw for 90 of his 330 yards in overtime to set up Parker Romo’s game-ending 29-yard field goal, and Minnesota outlasted Chicago 30-27 after giving up 11 points in the final 22 seconds of regulation.
Darnold threw two touchdown passes. Jordan Addison caught eight passes for a career-high 162 yards and a touchdown, and T.J. Hockenson had 114 yards receiving for the Vikings (9-2), who remained one game behind Detroit in the rugged NFC North.
Caleb Williams threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns as the Bears (4-7) dropped their fifth straight, with three decided on the final play. Chicago is 5-18 in one-possession games under coach Matt Eberflus, who is 14-31 in 2 1/2 seasons.
Williams was 32 of 47 with a 103.1 passer rating in his second straight solid performance since Thomas Brown replaced the fired Shane Waldron as offensive coordinator.
Aaron Jones ran for 106 yards and a score for the Vikings.
Cowboys 34, Commanders 26
Austin Seibert missed his second extra point of the game with 21 seconds left after Washington’s Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin connected on an 86-yard touchdown, Dallas’ Juanyeh Thomas returned the ensuing onside kick attempt for a touchdown, and the Cowboys pulled out a 34-26 victory Sunday.
The teams combined to score 31 points in the final four minutes, the most in an NFL game in more than a decade, and the Commanders (7-5) came out on the wrong end of it in a defeat that endangers their playoff chances.
Cowboys QB Cooper Rush was 24 of 32 for 247 yards and TD passes to Jalen Tolbert and Luke Schoonmaker.
Bucs 30, Giants 7
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield scored on a 10-yard scramble for one of Tampa Bay’s four rushing TDs, and the Buccaneers beat the Giants and new starting quarterback Tommy DeVito 30-7, snapping a four-game losing streak and extending New York’s skid to six.
DeVito did nothing to help the NFL’s lowest-scoring offense. He threw for 189 yards, mostly in the second half with New York well on its way to its sixth straight loss at home, where it is winless.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers dominated in every phase in a near-perfect performance that featured TD runs of 1 yard by Sean Tucker, 6 yards by Bucky Irving and 1 yard by Rachaad White. After recent losses to the Ravens, 49ers and Chiefs, Tampa Bay (5-6) moved within one game of idle Atlanta in the NFC South.
Packers 38, 49ers 10
Josh Jacobs rushed for 106 yards and matched a career high with three touchdowns and the Green Bay Packers trounced the short-handed San Francisco 49ers 38-10 on Sunday.
This marked the first time in the past 55 regular-season games that any individual had rushed for 100 yards against the 49ers. That represented the longest a team had gone without allowing a 100-yard rusher since at least 1955. (Justin Fields had rushed for 103 yards for the Chicago Bears against the 49ers on Oct. 31, 2021. Aaron Jones had rushed for 108 yards in the Packers’ 24-21 NFC divisional playoff loss to San Francisco last season.)
Injuries left the 49ers (5-6) without quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder), three-time All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) and four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Nick Bosa (hip/oblique) among others.
Green Bay’s Jordan Love was 13 of 23 for 163 yards with touchdowns to Tucker Kraft and Malik Heath as the Packers (8-3) had their highest point total since beating the Chicago Bears 38-20 in their 2023 opener.
Broncos 29, Raiders 19
Bo Nix passed for 273 yards and had two touchdown passes to break the team’s rookie record, and the Denver Broncos left Las Vegas with a 29-19 victory over the reeling Raiders on Sunday.
The Broncos (7-5) took another step toward an unexpected playoff spot with their second victory in a row.
Las Vegas (2-9) has lost seven consecutive games, its longest skid since the 2017-18 seasons.
Nix finished 25 of 42, and his 18-yard touchdown pass to Sutton in the third quarter broke the club rookie record of 14 set by Marlin Briscoe in 1968. Nix and Sutton later hooked up for a 2-yard TD with 5:30 left to give the Broncos a two-possession lead.
Denver wide receiver Courtland Sutton caught eight passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns to extend his streak of 70-yard games to five. That’s the longest streak by a Broncos player since Demaryius Thomas’ eight straight in 2014.
Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew landed hard on his left shoulder late in the game and was replaced by Desmond Ridder.
Minshew completed 25 of 42 passes for 230 yards, with a touchdown and interception. The best passing play, however, came on a fake punt when AJ Cole completed a 34-yard pass to linebacker Divine Deablo to set up a second-quarter field goal.
Jakobi Meyers caught 10 passes for 121 yards.
Seahawks 16, Cardinals 6
Coby Bryant returned an interception 69 yards for a touchdown and Leonard Williams had 2 1/2 sacks as the Seahawks tormented Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, and Seattle beat Arizona 16-6 on Sunday to move into a tie for the NFC West lead.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba had six catches for 77 yards and the first offensive touchdown against the Cardinals (6-5) in three weeks. But it was the defense that made the difference for the Seahawks (6-5) against their division rivals, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.
Seattle has won six straight and seven of eight over Arizona. The teams play again in two weeks.
The Cardinals averaged more than 29 points per game in their previous three, but the Seahawks held them to 298 total yards and 49 yards rushing while sacking Murray five times. Williams also had four hurries and a pass deflection.
Geno Smith threw for 254 yards with a touchdown pass and an interception for Seattle. Murray threw for 285 yards, and tight end Trey McBride had 12 catches for 133 yards.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Eagles 37, Rams 20
Saquon Barkley ran for touchdowns of 70 and 72 yards in the second half and finished with an Eagles-record 255 yards rushing in the streaking Philadelphia Eagles’ seventh consecutive victory, 37-20 over the Los Angeles Rams.
Barkley racked up the ninth-most yards rushing in a game in NFL history.
Barkley had 302 total yards. He leads the league with 1,392 yards rushing, including a league-best seven 100-yard rushing games in his seismic first season with Philadelphia.
A.J. Brown caught six passes for 109 yards and a TD from Jalen Hurts, who threw for 179 yards while NFC East-leading Philadelphia (9-2) surged away in a 24-point second half.
The Eagles improved to 4-0 against the Rams in the Los Angeles area since the franchise returned home.
Kyren Williams rushed for a score and Demarcus Robinson caught a TD pass for the Rams (5-6), who lost their second straight home game.
Matthew Stafford passed for 243 yards while getting sacked five times by Philadelphia’s top-ranked defense, and Los Angeles couldn’t keep up with a Super Bowl contender in the second half of only its second loss in six games. Puka Nacua had nine catches for 117 yards, and Cooper Kupp caught a 27-yard touchdown pass with 1:07 to play.

Green Bay Packers’ running back Josh Jacobs scores his third rushing touchdown of Week 12 to extend the Packers’ lead to 30-10 vs. the San Francisco 49ers.
