The NFL is planning on playing a full season in full stadiums but if that’s not possible they have backup plans.
Sources say the league’s contingency plans include a shortened schedule and playing games in empty or partially empty stadiums.

And because of this, the NFL’s schedule is being structured to provide maximum flexibility.
