The Family Pharmacy Panther Classic got underway on Monday night with a pair of games. In the first game the Liberty Eagles faced the host team the Mountain Grove Panther in a tough matchup. It was back and forth most of the night and took overtime to decide with Mountain Grove pulling out a win 60-58 in pool play. The second game of the night was not near as competitive as the Hartville Eagles faced Marshfield winning easily 69-34. Night two of pool play will take place on Tuesday night as the host Mountain Grove Panthers will face Norwood at 6:00 and the West Plains Zizzers will face Marshfield at 7:30. Both games can be heard on The Fox 96.9.
