COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 15 ranked University of Missouri softball announced Thursday updates to its 2025 schedule.
2025 NFCA DIVISION I LEADOFF CLASSIC
The updates start with the season-opening 2025 NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Florida, Feb. 7-9.
Mizzou will no longer be playing Penn State on Feb. 8 as originally planned. MU’s meeting with Duke previously slated for Feb. 9 has been moved to noon, CT on Feb. 8. The Tigers will also conclude the Classic against fellow Big Ten Conference member Iowa on Feb. 9 with a first pitch of 9 a.m., CT.
KANSAS CITY MIDWEEK
Mizzou’s home-opening midweek against in-state foe Kansas City has been moved up a day from March 5 to March 4, due to a Roos scheduling conflict.
ILLINOIS MIDWEEK
Originally scheduled as a doubleheader, Missouri and Illinois will now be playing just one game on March 18. If needed, the game can be flexed to a doubleheader based on early season weather/rainouts.
MISSOURI STATE MIDWEEK
Due to renovations at Missouri State’s facility in Springfield, Missouri, Mizzou’s midweek against the Bears on April 2 has been moved to the Mizzou Softball Stadium in Columbia, Missouri.
