No. 17/18 Mizzou Softball Earns 10-2 Victory

COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 17/18 Mizzou Softball concluded the first home weekend of the season with a perfect 4-0 record after run-ruling Drake by a score of 10-2. Mizzou was scheduled to play against Iowa State, but the game was called off due to inclement weather in Columbia for this afternoon.

After zeroes on the scoreboard in the first, Mizzou got the scoring started in the bottom of the second inning three runs. An RBI fielder’s choice from Alex Honnold got the Tigers started, and a bunt single from Jenna Laird plated two more following a throwing error from the Drake pitcher.
