– No. 24/25 University of Missouri softball (19-12, 0-5 SEC) will look to bounce back on the road against rival Kansas (10-18, 0-3 Big 12). First pitch is set for Wednesday, March 30th at 5 p.m. on ESPN+ from Arrocha Ballpark in Lawrence, Kansas.
Mizzou leads the all-time series over the Jayhawks 70-44, but the Tigers’ 13-game win streak was snapped during the 2021 season in a 4-3 defeat.
The Tigers were swept on the road at Ole Miss over the weekend. Kendyll Bailey had a productive series for the Tigers, going 5-for-9 with two home runs and three RBI. She has already matched her single season high of seven home runs. Bailey has reached base safely in each of the last seven games.
Mizzou is tied for third in the SEC with 49 home runs on the year while 13 different players have homered, the most by a Mizzou team since 2016.
In the circle for the Tigers, Emma Nichols has put together three-straight scoreless outings. Laurin Krings, meanwhile, has reached 100 strikeouts for the second-consecutive season.
