Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers stayed hot with a 27-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football at Lambeau Field. Love threw two first-half touchdowns to give Green Bay a 14-6 lead at the break. After Kansas City came within two, Love found Christian Watson in the back of the endzone to put Green Bay up by multiple possessions.
The Chiefs responded with a touchdown on their next drive, but Keisean Nixon picked off Patrick Mahomes with about five minutes left in regulation. Green Bay kicked a field goal to go up eight, and Kansas City’s hail-mary attempt at the end was batted away.
Love passed for 267 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Watson. Green Bay has won three games in a row to get back to .500 at 6-and-6, and they hold the final Wild Card spot in the NFC. Mahomes was held to 210 passing yards, a touchdown, and an interception, while Isiah Pacheco ran for 110 yards and a score. KC still has a comfortable lead in the AFC West at 8-and-4.
