THE SERIES SO FAR

Jan. 18: Blues 5, Sharks 4
Justin Faulk scored two goals, Mike Hoffman netted his first as a Blue and Jordan Kyrou broke a 4-4 tie in the third period with his second game-winning goal of the season to give the Blues their second victory of the season.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

“It’s always nice being back at Enterprise Center. Guys were talking after the game, it’s nice to have fans. You hear the odd clap or the odd cheer, and it’s better than nothing. Hopefully that crowd of 300 grows, hopefully we can have at least half the crowd back and get some noise and energy back in the building.” Brayden Schenn on playing for frontline workers at Enterprise Center

“The game was a winnable game for us. We scored four on the road, we won the special teams and that should be a recipe for at least a point. I can think of three, off the top of my head, goals that came off our sticks. Just high-percentage, really unsmart hockey player plays, and they go down and score and that hurts. St. Louis is a good team. You can’t give them anything.” – Sharks Head Coach Bob Boughner after a 5-4 loss on Monday

BLUE NOTES

Kyrou leads the Blues with three points (two goals, one assist) in three games this season… Kyrou, Faulk and Oskar Sundqvist are the only Blues with multiple goals this season… Sammy Blais is eligible to return to the lineup after serving a two-game suspension… Ryan O’Reilly‘s next assist will be his 100th as a Blue… Including the playoffs, the Blues have won six straight against the Sharks.
