• This week marks the 21st tournament of the 23-event regular season and 26-event 2022 Korn Ferry Tour
schedule
• The Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper is one of four tournaments played every
season since the Korn Ferry Tour’s inaugural 1990 season, with this year marking the 33rd playing of the
event, all of which have been held at Highland Springs Country Club
o The other three events with such distinction are the Visit Knoxville Open, Wichita Open
Benefitting KU Wichita Pediatrics, and Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron
o Only the Price Cutter Charity Championship, Wichita Open, and Albertsons Boise Open will be
played for the 33rd time this year, as the Visit Knoxville Open was only contested once (2021)
amid the 2020-21 combined season
• Notable past champions of the event include 2009 Open Championship winner Stewart Cink (1996),
three-time PGA TOUR winner Chris DiMarco (1997), television and radio talent Colt Knost (2008), PGA
TOUR winner Mackenzie Hughes (2016), Harry Higgs (2019), and PGA TOUR rookies Max McGreevy (2020)
and Dylan Wu (2021)
• Ben Silverman (2017) is the only past champion returning to the field this week
• Dylan Wu won the 2021 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, edging out Taylor
Moore for a two-stroke victory; the win earned Wu his first PGA TOUR card at regular season’s end
• Last week’s winner, Paul Haley II, finished T6 at the 2021 Price Cutter Charity Championship
• Entering this week, 12 players have achieved #TOURBound status this season, with Paul Haley II and
