The Royals let a late lead slip away and fell to the Rangers 6-4 in 10 innings Wednesday night. Kansas City loaded the bases with nobody out in the bottom of the 10th but couldn’t score, as Texas escaped with a game-ending double play. Seth Lugo left in the fourth inning after being struck in the head by a 106 mph line drive, the Royals said afterward he was doing well.
