Jonah Heim smashed a three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to send the Texas Rangers past the Kansas City Royals 8-5 at Globe Life Field. Josh Jung [[ young ]], Corey Seager and Marcus Semien each notched a pair of hits in the Rangers’ third straight win. Jacob deGrom allowed two earned runs while striking out nine in seven innings of action. Cole Ragans improved to 2-and-oh this season after throwing the final two-thirds of the 10th. The Rangers sit atop the AL West at 7-and-4. Sean Barlow was charged with the blown save and loss after allowing the game’s winning runs. Kansas City is fourth in the AL Central at 3-and-9.
