Royals 11, Tigers 10

The Royals survived a late Tigers rally during an 11-10 win in Kansas City. The Royals led 11-6 heading into the final frame, but Detroit scored four times and brought the tying run to third before Riley Greene flew out to end the game. Maikel Garcia drove in four runs in the victory, while Dairon Blanco had four hits and three RBI. Blanco was a home run short of the cycle, hitting the bottom of the wall on his second double attempt. Daniel Lynch-the-fourth earned his third win after giving up five runs in five innings of work. Kansas City has won two of three. Spencer Torkelson had two home runs and five RBI in the losing effort.
