Seth Lugo shined on the mound to lead the Kansas City Royals to a 2-0 shutout win over the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. Lugo allowed four hits through seven scoreless innings as he improved to 3-and-0. Vinnie Pasquantino delivered a strong performance at the plate, finishing 2-for-3 while also belting his third home run. James McArthur notched his third save as the Royals improved to 11-and-6. The White Sox managed just four hits in the losing effort. Chicago starter Nick Nastrini was handed the loss as the Southsiders slipped to 2-and-14.
