Salvy Perez drove in two runs, Isaac Collins had two hits and started a nice play in left field, cutting off a potential double and turning it into a relay throw to nab the final out at second base in the ninth to preserve the win. Seth Lugo went five innings for his 6th win, and the Royals beat Max Scherzer, who is at the end of the line on a great career. He dropped to 1-7.
