James McArthur secured his eighth save of the season after recording the final two outs of the game. Bobby Witt Jr. led the way at the plate after going two for three with a solo homer and three runs scored. The Royals improved to 22-and-16. They head west to face the Los Angeles Angels tonight. Right-hander Michael Wacha will start opposite LA southpaw Reid Detmers.
