The Royals extended their winning streak to three games after topping the Angels 7-0 in Kansas City. Amir Garrett was credited with the victory after pitching a scoreless inning in relief of Zack Greinke. Michael Taylor had a couple of hits and drove in three runs for the Royals. Noah Syndergaard was charged with the loss after allowing one run over five and two-thirds innings pitched. Jared Walsh was the only member of the Angels’ lineup to record multiple hits. Los Angeles is now 40-and-56 while Kansas City improved its record to 39-and-57.
