The Royals celebrated an unusual, 7-6 walk-off victory over the White Sox in Kansas City. Edward Olivares stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded in the ninth inning when Chicago reliever Gregory Santos was called for a balk which scored the game-winning run. Jackson Kowar earned the win after pitching a scoreless top of the ninth while MJ Melendez, Nelson Velazquez and Michael Massey each went yard.
