The Royals were rude guests in Milwaukee and blew out the Brewers 11-1 in their Home Opener. Kris Bubic [[ BOO-bich ]] earned the win after pitching six scoreless innings, while Jonathan India had two RBI. Salvy Perez and Maikel Garcia homered. Kansas City improved to 2-and-2 on the young season.

The St. Louis Cardinals had their three-game winning snapped with a 5-4 ten-inning loss to the Los Angeles Angels at Busch Stadium yesterday. JoJo Romero surrendered a pair of runs in the top of the tenth and was charged with the loss in relief. Lars Nootbaar and Brendan Donovan both homered in the losing effort. St. Louis dropped to 3-and-1.
