Royals even up ALDS with Yankees with a 4-2 win

The Royals evened the ALDS up at a game apiece after earning a 4-2 victory over the Yankees in Game Two at Yankee Stadium. Angel Zerpa was credited with the win after striking out one over a scoreless inning of relief. Lucas Erceg recorded his third postseason save after allowing one run in the bottom of the ninth. Jazz Chisholm Jr. went deep for the first time with a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth.

Maikel Garcia was moved to the leadoff spot and responded with four hits.

Salvador Perez hit his first home run of the playoffs with a solo shot in the top of the fourth. The Royals will host the Yankees in Game Three tomorrow night.
