The Royals split a doubleheader with the White Sox, losing 6-2 and then winning the second game 11-10 after KC jumped out to a 9-0 lead. The Sox got back into that one with an 8-run inning. They wrap up the series tonight. KC and the Sox two of the three teams in the American League eliminated from the postseason race.
