This past weekend the NFL Draft took place in Detroit and six Mizzou Tigers players heard their name called. Defensive Lineman Darius Robinson was taken in the first round by the Arizona Cardinals with the 27th pick, Corner Ennis Rakestraw was taken by Detroit in the second round, Linebacker Ty’Ron Harper is going to the Packers, Lineman Javon Foster to the Jaguars, Corner Kris Abroams-Draine is headed to Denver and Defensive Back Jaylon Carlies to the Colts. Four more Tigers were signed as undrafted free agents including running back Cody Shrader to the 49ers, kicker Harrison Mevis to Carolina, and offensive linemen Marcellus Johnson and Xavier Delgado to the Giants and Buccaneers respectively. It was a great showing for the Tigers program.
