The Thayer Bobcats have a new head football coach as Hall Of Fame coach Billy Webber has stepped down as the Bobcats head football coach. Briar Hancock has accepted the head football coaching position at Thayer for the 2022 season. This was Coach Hancock’s first year as an assistant coach at Thayer. Coach Hancock is from Paris Missouri and attended Quincy University.
Salem Ark Greyhounds are excited to announce the addition of Coach Billy Webber to the Greyhound Football staff. Coach Webber will serve as the Jr. High Head Football Coach and Sr. High Offensive Coordinator. Coach Webber from Thayer, where he has had a ton of success on the field (135-53 in the past 15 seasons) while also making a tremendous impact on the lives of many young men. Coach Webber was inducted to the Missouri Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2019 for his success on the field.
The Superbowl teams are set. Cincy defeated KC 27-24 and the Rams defeated the 49ers 20-17. Sunday Feb 12th Rams vs Bengals.
In a tough defense matchup, the University of Missouri men’s basketball team could not find a way to top No. 23 Iowa State, 67-50, in Hilton Coliseum Saturday afternoon. The game was a part of the annual SEC-Big 12 Challenge with 10 SEC teams facing off against Big 12 opponents.
