The West Plains Zizzers earned a third-place team finish at this year’s SWMO (Southwest Missouri) Swim & Dive Championship Meet in Springfield on Saturday. Eighteen teams competed at the meet and West Plains, amassing 291.5 points, placed behind only Glendale and Kickapoo. This is the highest team finish and most points scored in the eight years of the team’s existence. Powerhouse middle-distance swimmer, Isaac Kammerer, placed the highest individually of any West Plains swimmer ever at SWMO.
The Grizzlies played Sunday in Oklahoma for the Mitchell Elite 8 Tournament. They played 9th ranked Kilgore College Sunday morning at 11 am. And the Grizzlies had a ten-point lead at the half, but the second half Kilgore went off and the Grizzlies lose 84-61. Today at 1 pm, the Grizzlies will face another ranked team, Odessa College. Odessa starts the year ranked 12th. Catch the game on KDY 102.5.
The MSU-WP Lady Grizzlies played in their district tournament this past weekend. National tournament bound for Missouri State University-West Plains Volleyball after a hard fought five set victory over Indian Hills Community College!

The Mizzou Tiger took on #1 Georgia Bulldogs Saturday and got smoked 43-6 up next for Mizzou is the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday pregame at 130 kickoffs at 3pm all on Q94.
