High School Volleyball for tonight West Plains at Lebanon, Ava at Salem, Cabool at Thayer, Willow Springs at Houston, Liberty host Mountain Grove.

A huge congratulations to Hunter Adams for setting a new freshman rushing yard record He broke the Ava High School freshman rushing yard record last Friday night against Thayer. The previous record was set by Chance Dry who had 713 yards his freshman year in 2003. Hunter is currently at 744 yards with at least three more games to go this season.
District football standings for local teams. West Plains sit atop class 4 district 6 and more than likely finish with the first seed if they don’t have any more bumps. Mountain Grove is at the #4 spot but with a couple more wins its possible they could move into the #2 spot when its all said and done. Class 2 district 3 Ava sit at the number one spot and is a lock for home field once the district play-offs start, Liberty is at the 3 seed but could move into the number two spot if they win out and get a little help. Houston sits at #6 and Willow Springs #7. Class 1 district 3 Thayer is at 2 and that’s more than likely where they will end up and Cabool is at #5. District football is just around the corner first round will be played on Friday night Oct 29th.
Saturday the 3 and 3 Mizzou Tigers host 4-2 Texas A&M who last Saturday knocked off #1Alabama. Pregame at 9am and kickoff at 11am all on Q94.
The #17 Arkansas Razorbacks 4-2 host Auburn 4-2 Saturday kick off 11am.
The Missouri State Bears 3-2 host Indiana State 3-3 Saturday at 2pm.
Evangel 3-3 will be at Marshall Missouri to take on Missouri Valley Saturday at 2pm.
Thursday night NFL Tampa Bay at Philly to take on the Eagles 720pm on the NFL Network.
