Garylee has sports for April 28th

Christopher Randolph has been hired as the boys basketball coach and the athletic director at Gainesville School District for the 2022-23 school year. He replaces Morris Jenkins, who is retiring this summer after a 32-year coaching career. Randolph, a 2010 graduate of Gainesville High School, comes to the district from the Pierce City School District where he has spent the previous three years as a head basketball coach.

Cardinals play the Diamondbacks tonight pregame at 550 and first pitch at 635 all on kuku and kwpm.

 

The Willow Springs High School track & field teams are presenting a trivia night on Friday, April 29, at 7:00 p.m. in Grimes Auditorium.  Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. The entry fee is $75 for teams of 5-7 people.  Proceeds go to the WSHS track and field teams.  For more information, contact Chris Waggoner at 417-469-3260 ext. 362 or email waggonerc@wspgs.com.

 

Simmons Bank generously picked up one of four Luncheon Sponsorship opportunities for the Chamber’s Caddyshack Classic Golf Tournament to be held on May 13, 2022.  This event will kick off with a golfer’s lunch sponsored by Burton Creek Medical Clinic, Ozarks Healthcare, Simmons Bank and Westgate realty at 11:00 a.m.  This three person scramble will tee off at noon and will award prizes for first, second and third in three flights.  If your business would like to try their luck on Friday the 13th contact the Chamber office to at 417-256-4433 or email info@wpchamber.com to register.
