Round one of class 5 district play is in the books and the West Plains Zizzers took home the victory 4-0 vs Marshfield, behind great defense and pitching. Sy Stewart threws a complete game shutout only allowing 2 hits. Stewart also went 2-3 with a double. Evan Ackerson went 3-3 on the day. West Plains Zizzer baseball team will be back at Branson today for the semifinals vs. #1 in class 5 Willard @4:30. This was the Zizzers first district tournament baseball win since 2008.
The Willow Springs Men’s Golf League will start at 530pm, today the league will continue to be a two-person 9 hole scramble, Members and nonmembers are welcome to play in the Thursday night men’s league at Willow Springs.
Lady Zizzer Basketball Camp 3rd-12th grade camp is May 23-26.

Saturday May 28th at Mountain View golf course Summersville Athletics will host a golf tournament with two tee times 730am and 1pm, it’s a three-person 18-hole scramble 150 per team sign up for the tournament at the Mountain View Golf Course, a signup sheet is in the proshop.
