Despite a strong start early, the University of Missouri men’s basketball team couldn’t hold off No. 17 Tennessee’s defensive pressure as the Volunteers won, 80-61, Tuesday night inside Mizzou Arena. The game capped off a stretch of four games in seven days for the Tigers. Missouri heads out on the road for its final two away games of the season, beginning with a matchup at LSU on Saturday, Feb. 26. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. pregame on Q94.

Class 2 dist 2 girls championship game Ellington vs Alton at Van Buren. All three games are scheduled to be played on Thursday night weather permitting.
Class 5 district 5 basketball seeding on the boys side Catholic is the #1 seed and will play #8 Camdenton , Rolla is the #2 seed and will play Marshfield, West Plains is the #3 seed and will play Branson the #6 seed, Union is the #4 seed and will play #5 seed Glendale. On the Girls side West Plains is the #1 seed and gets a first-round bye. Rolla is the #2 seed and will play #7 seed Glendale, Camdenton #3 will play #6 Union, and #4 Marshfield will play #5 Branson. All games are played at Marshfield and the district tournament starts on Saturday Feb 26th.
