The 30th annual West Plains Kiwanis golf tournament held this past Saturday, June 26th was a success. All proceeds from the annual golf tournament stay local and go toward community youth programs. 25 teams played in the tournament.

Ladies longest drive went to Linda Heady, and men’s longest drive was went to Geno Middleton. Kiwanis of West Plains would like to thank all the local businesses that contributed via sponsorship or prize donations for making this year’s tournament possible.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman announced Monday that the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild will meet in the 2022 NHL Winter Classic on Jan. 1, 2022 at Target Field – home of the Minnesota Twins. The teams were originally expected to meet in the outdoor game in 2021, but the event was postponed due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions.
Junior Golf Tournament Wednesday July 14th at the Willow Springs Thomas F Benyo Municipal Golf Course. Cost is just $10.00, and Lunch will be provided tournament is for boy’s and girl’s sign up at the pro-shop or call 417-469-1214.
The STL Cardinals made it two in a row last night as the took on the Diamondbacks in game 2 of a 3-game series and getting the win 3-2. With more on last nights game here is John Rooney.
