Class 4 State Cross country meet is coming up and both Zizzer teams made the cut with more on the up coming meet here is Zizzer head coach Alicia Gunter talking about the state meet.
The Lady Zizzers are looking at maybe being back-to-back state champs and the boys are looking to grab the state tittle after just coming up short last year. Another local team made the trip to the State meet in class two the Alton Boys team will run for a state tittle along with several individual runners from around our area, good luck to all.
The MSU-WP Grizzlies kicked off their season at home with last years National Champion Coffeeville, and what a game the Grizzlies come up short 70-67. with more here is Harlan Hutchison.
Up nest for the Grizzly basketball program Semo Prep is at the WPCC Thursday at 7pm then its a road trip to Oklahoma City Sunday 11am vs Odessa College and Monday 1pm vs Kilgore College catch both games on KDY 102.5.

And the High School Volleyball Final Four’s are set in Class one Gideon plays South Iron and Miller plays Santa Fe. Class 2 Volleyball final four Jefferson vs Hermann and Skyline vs Bishop LeBlond. These two classes will play on Fri and Sat. Class 3 volleyball final four Valle Catholic vs Blair Oaks and Strafford plays Notre Dame. Class 4 final four Volleyball Neerinx Hall vs Westminster Christian and Logan Rogersville vs Pembroke Hill classes 3 and 4 play on Thursday and Friday all games will be played in Cape Girardeau.
