West Plains Parks and Recreation is in need of youth basketball officials for there upcoming youth basketball seasons. Potential officials need to be at least 16 years old or older in order to apply. The pay is $25 per game with a normal night including 4 games, with the potential for more games on Saturdays. If you are interested in becoming a basketball official for the West Plains Parks and Recreation Department please drop by the Jimmie Carroll Sports Complex at 540 East Olden Street in West Plains to fill out the necessary paperwork. 3rd annual Sharp County Sheriff Foundation Swing for Safety benefit golf tournament Saturday Sept 26th at Cherokee Village South Golf Course, Tee time of 9am. It’s a four-person scramble and the cost is 400 dollars.
