St. Louis City SC destroyed Sporting Kansas City 4-nil at CityPark on Saturday. Eduard Lowen started the scoring in the 19th minute, and Indiana Vassilev added one more score before halftime. Vassilev scored again in the second half, and Nicholas Gioacchini also notched a goal.
St. Louis is in third place in the Western Conference with seven wins, one draw, and four losses for 22 points. The club hosts Vancouver on Saturday.
